This law firm was and continues to be very helpful and provides valuable information and advice regarding my situation. I give 5 stars , I will use and refer everyone I know and come in contact with that have the same problems and needs as I do.

Tom and Victoria are truly a great team. They made the process easy and straightforward. Tom was very friendly and not intimidating at all. Made a very stressful process manageable. I cannot recommend them enough!

Do not hire. He has no idea what he is doing, will not put the time into understanding your case, and lie to you saying that he is an expert. He made constant mistakes which showed he didn't understand the process, and I was sanction 10s of thousands of dollars, because I followed his advice. Keep in mind, I also challenged him on these things, but he said it was fine and I shouldnt be concerned about it. I also specifically told him I need him to spend more time on the case, because it is complex, but he refused saying he had too many clients. He also blamed his failures on staff leaving by surprise. But these were basic errors on protocol that he should have known. He also refused to send me court orders so I would know exactly what was ordered and all around communication was constantly bad. If you care about your case or have anything that is more complicated that just filling out standard forms, do not hire.

Tom Kurta and his staff, specifically Victoria, have been amazing to work with! I enlisted Tom's help for bankruptcy after i had to close my business in 2025 and was left with a mountain of debt. He was very patient with me, as we could not file my case for quite some time after I initially sought out his services. Once we were ready, the preparation of documents was very easy for me to follow as Victoria helped lay everything out very clearly. Instructions were concise on what I needed to do, and provide, to make this as quick and smooth as possible. Having to file for bankruptcy is a hard choice and very emotionally trying, but I am very thankful Tom and Victoria were able to help me through this to make it as smooth as possible. Needing an attorney definitely isn't necessarily something anyone looks forward to but I would absolutely look forward to working with Tom again, for other matters, if needed.

He made a lot of sense explaining the divorce process. However, we were unable to find adequate time to address the problems I was having trying to leave a bad situation. His pricing was reasonable. He did not seem to be prepared for how aggressive opposing counsel has been in my case.
