Had a phone consultation with Mr. Steven Harris. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Didn't BS me into anything or try to sell me on services his firm provided. He gave honest, straight forward answers to the questions I had.

I would not recommend The Harris Firm LLC for divorce representation. My experience, which extended from November 2024 to February 2026, highlighted several significant issues.

Initial filing error: The firm filed my divorce in the wrong county, causing avoidable delays. I was subsequently charged for rectifying this mistake.
Staffing and communication problems: The firm transitioned through three paralegals, and there was a pattern of delays in correspondence between my response and opposing counsel. If I did not actively follow up, little to nothing progressed for weeks or even months.
Inconsistent case status: An attorney informed me via email that the judge had signed off and I was officially divorced, but two days later a different paralegal stated they were still working on my case and might need additional information.
Administrative errors: The final balance was sent to an address not associated with my account & current last name.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and inefficient, and I would not recommend this firm based on how my case was handled.

I would not recommend David Miller as an attorney. Although my divorce proceeded as a default judgment, it still took five months to complete. Communication throughout the process was poor, as calls and messages were often not returned. My case only progressed because I continually followed up, not because of proactive action from the firm. I was also billed fees that were never properly clarified.

While the divorce was eventually finalized, I never received the divorce certificate as indicated in email communication from his paralegal, Katrina. Additionally, all paperwork and related matters were not fully completed, and I ultimately had to retain another attorney to address the remaining outstanding issues. Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, and follow-through was very stressful.
