Beware of this attorneys office, make sure you check all paperwork for any legalities regarding proof of service, addresses, dates…They illegally filed proof of service on a judgment against me from 2015 that they renewed in 2024…just found out they renewed the judgment and sent proof of service to a mailing address that doesn’t exit. They are well aware of what my mailing address is, yet any documents I had the right to appeal; they sent to a non existent mailing address, therefore I never received any proof of service to appeal my case. Currently filing paperwork to get the case thrown out with the Long Beach Courthouse due to proof of service being inaccurate. Then after illegally filing proof of service, they ILLEGALLY reported the collection from 2015 to my report, this year in 2026…it is illegal to report a collection over 7-10 years old, in most cases 7 years old, even if the judgement is renewed, it goes off the original judgement date…I believe this was done with malicious intent and I’m currently speaking with an attorney regarding it. It is generally illegal for an attorney or debt collector to sue you on a debt 11 years old, as this exceeds the statute of limitations (usually 3–10 years). While they can legally ask for payment, threatening litigation or suing on this "time-barred" debt violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). This office knows the original judgement is from 2015 and that’s it’s illegal to report it to collections now even with the judgement being renewed. I’m requesting the case be vacated/dismissed due to improper service of documents and Duringer law group not notifying me that it was renewed. This is my experience with this company, I’d go elsewhere. I’ll write an update with how everything turns out regarding removing the collection, seeing legal counsel for punitive damages and getting the judgement vacated for improper service.

Unfortunately, the worst law firm I have had experience with. They are non-responsive and arrogant, showing no concern for the client. Save yourself time, money, and grief by going somewhere else.

Unprofessional woman on phone. Rudely talked to me like I was 5 years old unnecessarily. Pretty sure I'm decades older as I'm an aging older adult- and a professional. That kind of candor reeks of incompetence. I stated reason for call, answered her firing squad interrogative questions to be told someone would call me. When it was my turn to speak as a normal conversation would go, I attempted to ask a question. I was cut off at the first sound. I attempted again; cut off again second time like she was a teacher talking to a kindergartener who was speaking out of turn. Will someone in the office please read these reviews of the same inappropriate treatment (likely of the same woman) and get rid of her. How proud can you be of that type of handling? No one for any reason for any kind of communication should think that is appropriate or 'ok'. No one ever returned my call.
