I had a disappointing experience with the consultation process. My consultation with Attorney Bains was rescheduled twice by the office due to the attorney's availability. After the second rescheduling, I decided not to reschedule again. I had already paid a $50 administrative fee through the attorney referral service and was told it was non-refundable. I was offered a referral to another attorney, but I was not given the attorney's name before being asked to schedule the consultation. Overall, the repeated rescheduling and the referral process were frustrating, and I decided not to move forward.

He’s either incompetent or unprepared or both. I have a child custody case and he showed up to court and couldn’t even tell the judge what I did for a living when he asked. He wants your retainer in hopes you stay long enough to collect most of it before you get smart enough to get out of your contract. Save your money and choose a lawyer who cares—not him. There is a theme with his good reviews that people should pay attention to.
