I had a very positive experience working with Terry Hess.
He handled my case professionally from start to finish and achieved a great outcome. In my situation, he was able to reduce the points on my record from four down to two and also get the speeding violation reduced by 10 mph, which made a significant difference for me.
Throughout the process, he was clear, responsive, and straightforward about what to expect. I always felt informed and confident that my case was being handled properly.
I would definitely recommend Terry Hess to anyone looking for reliable and effective legal representation.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Terry Hess.

I was a defendant in a case in which I strongly believed I was falsely accused. I hired Terry and paid him to defend me, but throughout the process, I felt that he was not willing to spend enough time communicating with me. He repeatedly told me not to message him over the weekend because he needed rest, and he also suggested that I should not reply to his emails too quickly because he did not want to spend too much time responding.

In my opinion, this was extremely unprofessional. A criminal defendant facing serious allegations is under enormous stress and needs an attorney who is responsive, careful, and fully committed to the defense.

What surprised me the most was that he advised me to speak with the police and explain my side of the case without having an attorney present. When I shared this advice with other Pennsylvania attorneys, every attorney I spoke with seemed surprised by it.

He also mocked the nickname I used in my email account, which I found inappropriate and disrespectful. Instead of treating me with professionalism during a very stressful legal situation, his conduct made me feel belittled as a client.

I also felt that he did not truly trust me as his client and often seemed to view the case from the prosecution’s perspective rather than from the defense’s perspective. At times, it felt as if he was arguing for the prosecution instead of advocating for me.

If you are looking for an attorney who will handle your case professionally, communicate responsibly, and fairly advocate for you from the defendant’s perspective, I personally would not recommend Terry Hess.

In my opinion, Terry Hess’s conduct was so unprofessional that I believe the bar association should seriously review his behavior and consider whether he is fit to continue practicing law.

Terry is very knowledgeable about the legal processes and extremely quick to respond to inquiries and quick in submitting paperwork.

Great attorney for representing and helping you with some problems in court. Terry is polite, intelligent. Great communicator- explain all steps, all the time in time without holding the information. He gave us reasonable and fair price. Highly recommendation from us.
