My Zoom consultation with Ms. Telfer initially generated enthusiasm. She expressed fervent interest in my case and assured me a retainer would arrive within two hours. However, a jarring email the following day instructed me to *retain* my current legal counsel—a directive I’d already acted upon. My explanation elicited a furious response, a scathing denial of any retainer promise, coupled with an accusation of dishonesty. This volatile reaction instantly revealed her unsuitability. The subsequent call from her assistant, confirming Ms. Telfer's failure to conduct the promised preliminary case investigation, underscored my growing apprehension about her ethical standards and professional integrity. Her behavior revealed a profound lack of professionalism and trustworthiness, as well as exclaiming in detail what was wrong with my case.

She came highly recommended as we needed an attorney in a time sensitive matter. Spoke to her receptionist Gavin. Filled out the intake paperwork. Followed up with phone call again with Gavin. No response. No reply. 3 months and not one word. AVOID.

Jill Telfer and her legal assistant Jason were so beyond helpful in handling my case. The rep who answered the phone was rude, called sounding like she was from a random store with her mouth full of food. Her tone alone is what made me hang up on her. Sorry to the lawyer who could've had a case but her tone was horrible.
