My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca Spinner on our estate planning, and we truly cannot say enough positive things about our experience.

Our planning process was comprehensive and included advanced directives, appointment of a health care representative for our minor child, a living trust, powers of attorney, health care proxies, HIPAA releases, a will, and detailed guardianship nominations and instructions. Rebecca guided us through each step with incredible knowledge, care, and attention to detail.
What really set Rebecca apart was her ability to make what can often feel like an overwhelming and emotional process feel approachable and even, dare I say, enjoyable. She created a safe, comfortable space for us to openly discuss topics that most people tend to avoid, while helping us think through decisions in a thoughtful and personalized way. She encouraged us to ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and truly partner with her to design an estate plan that reflects our values and priorities for our family.

Rebecca is not only exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough, but also kind, patient, and genuinely a joy to work with. It was clear that her care extended beyond just our experience - it’s embedded in how she and her entire team operate.
We were equally impressed by the seamless collaboration of her team, including Colin Davis, our Case Manager, and Ashley Blossom, Senior Client Service Specialist. Together, they were truly a “dream team” - responsive, organized, and supportive throughout the entire process.

We are beyond grateful to have had Rebecca and her team in our corner as we built our estate plan, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert guidance delivered with compassion and professionalism.

I had a very frustrating experience with this office. My mother initially met with the attorney in person using an interpreter who worked there at the time, so we believed this would not be an issue moving forward.

After taking some time as a family to decide how we wanted to proceed, we reached back out months later to move forward. At that point, we were told they would call us to schedule once an interpreter was available, but we never received a follow-up.

After making several calls ourselves, we were then told that they could not move forward because that interpreter no longer works there and they do not offer interpreter services. We were also told the attorney would need to speak Portuguese directly, and that using an interpreter was not acceptable.

This was extremely disappointing and confusing, especially given that an interpreter was used during our initial meeting. Many legal offices are able to work with certified interpreters, so being turned away under these circumstances felt unreasonable and, honestly, discriminatory.

We were ready and willing to move forward and ensure clear communication, but instead felt discouraged from accessing services. This creates unnecessary barriers for non-English-speaking families seeking important legal support. To my understanding, there is no requirement that an attorney must speak the client’s language directly.

I was specifically told that they would not work with us because my father does not speak English, that the attorney must speak his primary language, and we were directed to find a Portuguese-speaking attorney elsewhere. I would not recommend based on this experience.
