DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! KEEP YOUR MONEY! LOOK ELSEWHERE! If you are looking for a lawyer that communicates and doesn't take unnecessary money! After hiring this law office for my child support case there was little to no communication leading up to my pretrial date. I thought for sure a phone call, email or something would be done the week before. The week of. The day before. But nothing. Little did I know, my lawyer didn't even show up! Another lawyer in the firm came and after a "roll call" pretrial complete. Documents requested and provided and trust account (initially $3500) dwindled. A request for $1000 came and then another for $3500. I requested to schedule a call with some questions and was told "You have to make a payment before someone will speak with you"
A total of $8000 wasted and $4500 was completely unnecessary since nothing was actually "done" or "discovered" after the 2 more deposits. All information was available prior to that payment, and IF ONLY a conversation was had there was no need to proceed. I could have accomplished the same thing without a lawyer and kept $8000.
It's been 15 days since the final agreement was entered into the courts and the little amount of money that WAS left in my trust has not been returned to me. Numerous emails unanswered and the ones that were only provided very vague responses. I can only assume that what was/is in my trust will be used for something. Such a shame that the outcome of my case is not the most disappointing part of my experience with this law firm.
