By far the worst experience ever! I have a court date set for August 2026. Mind you, I learned about the court date through my own research. This law firm did not notify me what so ever. I have not heard back from this awful law firm. They consistently text me about a client portal which I have never had access to. They have refused to return my calls. I have been leaving voicemails and emails since June 24, 2026 regarding the upcoming court hearing. I was even on hold for 4 hours just to be hung up on once I started to complain about my experience. Their minion team makes promises that the attorney on my case will personally call me. Never was given a name. The call back never happened. Communications are horrible. Customer service is terrible. I regret hiring this firm. My next step is filing a formal complaint to the California BAR.

“I hired SLP for a lemon law case. The original settlement was agreed upon on March 24th, with a 90-day payout. After signing the agreement, on May 4th, I was asked to sign a Docusign confirming my address for payment. At that point, the attorney said the timeline would restart, and now the manufacturer had 150 days from that new date. Communication was lacking, and I didn’t feel informed until the court process. In the end, I received a much lower settlement than I expected, given the severe issues with the car.”

I thought they were good till the pay out came, I accepted that I got less then what was reported to the IRS because they said that would happen however. That was in 2024 everything was done I get a notice this year they accepted 10,000 dollars in 2025 in my name I was not informed I did not receive any money in 2025. Yet they continue to dodge me and give unsure answers reguard this. I just need proof they did not give me that money. Currently this is my 3rd call regarding this issue and I have been on hold for over 2 hours. Last time I requested a call back they called me back and put me on hold.... if this does not get resolved I will have to file a complaint with the BBB or see where else I can file because accepting money on the behalf of a client and not telling the client or giving the money is illegal im fairly certain. Trying to make me pay taxes on money you accepted and never paid me

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!! If I can give them 0 stars I would !! By far the worst experience. It’s been 4 years & I’m still waiting for them to provide me a surrender date! This place is a huge mess & everyone working here is so unprofessional. You can never get a hold of anyone working on your case & when you do they all seem clueless as if they have no idea what’s going on with your case. They will never call you to update you on your case unless you’re consistently calling . Listen to all the bad reviews this place has cause they’re true !!!

I hired Strategic Legal Practices for a California lemon law case involving my Audi e-tron GT, and my experience has been very frustrating. My concerns include inaccurate filings, missed deadlines, delayed communication (with myself and opposing counsel), unclear settlement guidance, and a lack of clear direction regarding upcoming hearings and next steps. I raised concerns early that the complaint filed in my case appeared to include facts that did not match the actual issues with my vehicle. I also repeatedly followed up regarding settlement questions, mileage calculations, reimbursement issues, and court dates. The defense attorneys even requested court sanctions against SLP. What makes this more frustrating is that SLP’s own website advises consumers to choose a lemon law attorney who is a good communicator, keeps clients informed, listens to concerns, and answers questions promptly. That was not my experience. To make this even worse 3 of the attorneys and partner that worked on my case left the law firm. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar of California regarding my concerns with the handling of my case. I would not use this firm again and would not recommend them based on my experience. Read the reviews online and do a good search for the company and the Managing Partner and Founder of the law firm Payam Shahian.
