I was referred to this office by two well respected attorneys in Oklahoma, on in OKC and one in Tulsa, who both spoke highly of Mr. Connor's legal ability. Based on those referrals, I expected a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.

I initially reached out out on April 2nd, and left and voicemail. I also completed the contact form on their website, providing detailed information about a serious family law matter involving child safety and welfare. Given the urgency and sensitivity of the situation, I expected at minimum at timely acknowledgement. After hearing NOTHING, I followed up again on April 6th and spoke with someone in the office, who indicated my message would be passed along and I was promised a call back with in a few hours as well.

on April 7th, I followed up again and was told once again I would receive a call back within the day. That did not happen. I called back once more and was told that their lack of follow through was unacceptable and that the office manage would reach out. As of April 10th, I still have not receive any response.

I completely understand that attorneys are busy and cannot take every case. However, basic professional courtesy, especially in family matters involving the safety of children, would be to communicate whether you are able to assist or not. At this point, this is no longer a missed message or an oversight, it is a pattern of failed follow-through.

In any professional environment, especially in the legal field, intake and communication are not optional, they are foundational. When a firm repeatedly fails to return calls, fails to track inquiries, and fails to do what it explicitly says it will do, it reflects a breakdown in basic operational competence. More importantly, this was not a routine inquiry. As mentioned above it involved the safety and welfare of a child. In this area of law, responsiveness is not just a courtesy, it is part of the responsibility that comes with the work. Ignoring repeated outreach under those circumstances is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

No one expects every case to be accepted. What is expected is clarity, communication, and accountability. This office demonstrated none of the three. Mr. Connor may have a strong reputation in the courtroom, but based on my experience, his office’s inability to manage even the most basic client communication raises serious concerns about how matters are handled in practice.

I would NOT recommend this firm.
