DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!

I was assaulted multiple times by same man and the last time it happened, I shot him! This was in August of 2025. I came to Giovannini's office and told him my story. He drove me to the Sheriff's Dept downtown and when they came out he left me there! He never turned in my statement and I was advised to not give a statement without him, so I sat in jail for 2 weeks! He never answered my calls or came up to meet with me!
I finally decided to get another lawyer and he did what this lawyer should have done! I have since had my case dismissed because it was a very clear case of self-defense!
I NEVER SHOULD HAVE SAT IN JAIL AND MY LAWYER SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ME!
When I asked him why he did that, he said, "you never paid me"! We had discussed payment and I told him what I had and offered to put my truck up as collateral! If he didn't think this would temporarily suffice, he should have said so before throwing me to the wolves and leaving me there!!!
