He just needs to retire already. My friend hired him to get custody of his children. We found out that his ex wife had no electric and got kicked out of her home so we called and let him know that we were going to file for emergency custody. He said if you go without me I will drop you. So they agreed to meet at the courthouse an hour before they closed. Stephen insisted that he file for a restraining order instead. The judge heard the case and denied it but said if they were going for emergency custody it would have been granted. Needless to say don't waste a dime even speaking with this man. He spent thousands of dollars just to have meetings with his ex wife and this poor excuse of a lawyer and in the end nothing was changed because he basically refused to take the case to court and didn't want to have to do any real work.

Wow. The man would not let me say a word!!! He just kept suggesting that I pay him the money and he will handle it from there. What about a consultation? What about telling what "what you are going to do?" I felt very uncomfortable. And if I am to pay $2,500.00 for a divorce: don't I have the right to be told step by step what will be done and have a chance to comment on each step? I didn't hire him...... it isn't about the money, 1st impressions in my book goes a long way!!!!! Moving on to find a lawyer that will LISTEN and not just try to OUT TALK me. geezzz.
