This is regarding specifically traffic court services. I cannot speak to criminal anything. I contacted this lawyer via website for assistance with a speeding ticket. I had already rescheduled the date and they moved it a full month early without notifying me, asking any questions, or even explaining how the process of being represented by an attorney works or how the municipality handles things such as payments. I asked for next steps and got a response that he changed the court date back to the original one and that I was due to pay the ticket before the rescheduled court date. When I stated I was very unhappy with his for a number of reasons and asked about what can be done for payment options he emailed "I'll see" then... never actually did. I called the courthouse myself and was thankfully able to work something out but what an awful experience being represented by this man. And zero professionalism or accountability for not taking even 5 minutes to call and introduce himself or ask if there was any pertinent information to have before just doing whatever. "Just say thank you" was his response. If you are even a little unfamiliar with TN traffic laws or the municipal court system you're operating in, I strongly advise going elsewhere. He simply does not care about you. Replying to Mr. Stegall You communicated the changed court date AFTER CHANGING IT WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. It is not my responsibility to ensure you are behaving with consideration and respect to your clients. Humility and humbleness ALSO go a long way. If you look up his record, which I should have done, you'll see he has already been publicly censored for similar transgressions. Mr. Stegall, you assume too much, overstepped and acted inappropriately by even your peers' standard which resulted in a dropped ball as you failed to offer effective assistance to your client. Instead of apologizing and doing anything to rectify the situation you have the audacity to say "too bad so sad be grateful" That's not how this works. And people can and will take other's experiences into consideration when working with you in the future.
