From the start Mr Spivack talked a good game, and I trusted and believed in him. That he would get me out the “hole” I was in with my abusive, narcissist soon to be ex husband. Who manipulated his way through the court system and framed me. Just disgusting!

Mr Spivack gave his word and reassured me he would fight for me and win my custody of my children back to me, by filing the motions to have them released. I started with the retainer fee and paid majority until I seen the motion filed he claimed he would on day one. I read his reviews on how he did some of his others clients the same way, but I still went with him. Thinking the other clients could be stretching the truth or over exaggerating. So I scaled back on the remainder to save myself from being taken. But $3000 later, I was taken, because nothing much was filed and no communication and 2 hearings, writing promises that didn’t come to past. Then calling his office excuses after excuse from the secretary that didn’t seem to last. So eventually I came down to his office recently, to see if he went out of business or just avoiding me. Whenever I would call I would get the voicemail. Got him once ant his office and he was a deer in headlights when he saw me, blaming his secretary and his work load like that’s my problem. I sympathize some what, but I knew he was BS ing me. It takes two seconds to answer your clients phone call no what to assure them your working on their behalf. Now I’m getting a email, he closing his firm and can’t represent me or others. How convenient, to take your clients money and do bare minimum to NOTHING!!! Then move on to the State Attorney Office. The Bible says we reap what we sow, he will answer to God for this.

I want to start with an apology to anyone who was affected by my words or hired this man because of my recommendation. I made the original post because I’m a man who keeps his word, and at the time I gave him 5 stars hoping it would push him to actually do the job he promised. I kept that post up thinking he would finish what he started. He never did.

I’m angry. I did all the work for him that he ended up using in my case, while he burned time on pointless steps that only dragged things out and left my son alienated even longer. Then he took my case again, said he’d start soon, and canceled. That speaks for itself.

My own naive self played a part in it too. I let myself be judged by how blindly I accepted whatever my lawyer told me. I should have pushed what I knew, not swallowed what he said just because he said it.

It’s embarrassing he calls himself a family attorney when what he delivered was nothing but damage to families. He’ll be reported, and everything will be documented. The truth will come out in every form I choose to tell it, including through art. Facts wrapped in expression.

He took advantage of someone disabled, took money, wasted time, and fed me the same tired script he feeds anyone he doesn’t feel like working for. Five thousand dollars just to blow smoke and act like he’s doing me a favor. Meanwhile, he’s been nothing but a shake in the grass I praised just to get basic effort out of him, and still got nothing.

If anyone used him based on my advice and got treated the way I was, I’m genuinely sorry. My intent was protecting my son and his brothers, who were already suffering from abuse. His lack of integrity, his absence of any moral code, and his cold-blooded behavior only made everything worse. He sheds responsibility like a reptile sheds skin.

I once believed Spivack Law delivered exceptional legal services. I believed the outcomes spoke for themselves. Based on past experience, I trusted him again, thinking it would be another straightforward win.

I wrote that post in good faith, expecting professionalism and follow-through. That confidence was misplaced.

That was then. Reality turned out very different.
