I signed the engagement letter and promptly sent an email outlining a critical and time-sensitive matter. However, I did not receive a response until five days later, with no apology for the delay or acknowledgment of the urgency. Subsequently, upon informing them that I would seek assistance elsewhere, the response received was simply a brief "thank you for the update" without an apology or an attempt to make it right. This lack of professionalism raises concerns about being properly represented, especially when important communications are not addressed promptly after committing to representation.
