Back in 2019 Garret was my attorney, he was recommended to me trough and old family friend I would consider her family . She said Garret grew up around her kids and that he was awesome I put my trust in that hired him and told him I had and incident (when I was a minor) before this everything was done the correct way and that I could not see it in my record even tho the prosecutors offered us the minimum judgement when it came to my situation he insisted we mention it to the judge as well as charging me second time offense fees before even checking my record I was a single mother could not spend time away from my child and from been afraid I agreed to the what ifs I agreed.Garret kept dragging the court date I’m not sure why I told him to go ahead and schedule it I was ready to deal with my punishment the day off,the judge even told him that if he wasn’t ready we could reschedule because he was been unprofessional and it was noticeable.He seemed like he didn’t have the information together.He said no that he was ready even though we told the judge what had happened before he gave me a first time offense and I dealt with the consequences in which were not the same as the prosecutors had offered in which would have been less if he would have looked into my criminal history and actually represented me as my lawyer it cause me a lot of damage to my life as well as my job and he knew that because I told him before hand. It was 7 years ago but you would think a lawyer would help you and give you better advice I was 24 years old then and well I hired a lawyer thinking it would help me.
