A competing brand hired a prestigious law firm to tell us to stop using our brand name and pay them compensation for having violated their trademark. Our IP situation wasn’t perfect – we had failed to do some important things – but we thought we were overall in the right and we brought our case to Sergiy. Wow! Sergiy hit our competitors so fast and hard and devastatingly comprehensively that their first response was to say they were giving up their claim against us.

When we first approached Sergiy, he asked us some questions about our product and we answered them. Sergiy didn't represent us based only on the information we had provided. He absolutely went to town researching and learned everything about the histories of all the involved and related products. The level of detail he uncovered and compiled was next level.

He then organized that information into the most comprehensive and powerful and hard-hitting response to our competitor that you could imagine. With impeccable logic and it seemed literary rhythm, Sergiy laid out how our competitor’s claims against our IP were BS and if they pursued those claims not only would they lose those claims but they could potentially lose their own IP in a countersuit.

Sergiy sent me that draft response for my feedback. I don’t normally enjoy reading legal documents, but it was a super fun read ... paragraph after paragraph after paragraph of impenetrable arguments destroying our competitor’s claims. It was like the bell was barely done ringing to start the first round and Mike Tyson had already bashed some guy in the face five times with his concrete fists. Our competitors didn't know what hit them. They gave up without throwing a punch.
