I was assigned Laurann Brown from Singleton-Brown Law, PLLC in Tazewell County as my court-appointed attorney. From the very first time I tried to contact her, she made a lasting impression. She was responsive, professional, and genuinely took the time to listen and explain things clearly.
Like a lot of people, I’d heard the jokes — “you get what you pay for,” “a paid lawyer is a winning lawyer,” and that a free attorney doesn’t equal freedom.
