Going into my case, it was my first time ever having to work with a lawyer, so I honestly had no idea what to expect. From day one, Jason Wasserman made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. He kept me updated every step of the way, communicated frequently, and always took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I truly can’t say enough good things about Jason. He made me feel like my case genuinely mattered to him and that I wasn’t just another client. While my initial review was respectful enough to omit specific attorney names publicly, I will be modifying this approach given the level of subsequent harassment I've received not only from the attorney but from the firm overall: UPDATE (7/17): I am updating this review to reflect the firm’s conduct after receiving negative feedback. On 7/13, attorney Eric Bacaj emailed me directly regarding my 1-star rating. On 7/16, he escalated this by calling my husband—an unrelated third party who had absolutely nothing to do with my legal case. The firm’s public reply claiming they have tried to reach me "multiple times" is their own spin. My assessment of their lackluster representation stands, and tracking down my family members will not change it. While Eric Bacaj claims he has "connections" wherever you're conveniently seeking representation—in my case it was Frederick—he clearly refuses to act on them and will push back as much as possible, and then play victim when you hold him accountable to his own words. Afterwards, he'll be flabbergasted by the 1-star review he's earned, as if he didn't lie his way through the entire process. The representation is in the past and cannot be improved upon, meaning there is zero reason for Eric Bacaj to continue spamming my inbox or calling my family. The ONLY meaningful correction that can be made at this stage is a financial remedy or a direct intervention by the firm's senior leadership to address the quality of services rendered. If the senior principals of Silverman & Thompson want to step in and handle this professionally to reach a financial resolution, you know how to contact the actual client. Otherwise, Eric Bacaj needs to consider this a final directive to cease all contact with me and my loved ones immediately before a formal harassment complaint is filed. You have only made your firm's situation worse by allowing this post-review conduct to occur.
