I highly recommend them. Especially Scott. He is truly a blessing. He represented my husband in a PFA matter and now a custody matter and he did a wonderful job and got us what we wanted. Now we are going to use him for an adoption process

The firm handled the adoption of our daughter at the end of 2025 and their entire staff was amazing with which to work! Everything was simplified and clear through the process. Additionally, since we had a impending loss of a family member, the staff worked diligently to help get the final adoption hearing "moved up" before the loss of my father! Thank you, Mark and Rachel for this amazing experience!!

Scott was not very helpful at all and way more expensive than most lawyers are and would not take payments after paying them over 5k to begin with. He really did not even help the case we were fighting for! I had to pretty much tell him how to do his job!!!

We used Silliker and Reinhold for our adoption and man were they awesome to work with. Mark is fantastic and Rachel was wonderful. I'd highly recommend them.

My bank did find in my favor that the billing activity associated with this matter was not handled correctly.

Beyond billing concerns, I also want to note communication issues. In my experience, conversations felt circular and unclear. When I asked direct questions, I did not receive consistent or concrete answers, and I left interactions feeling uncertain about what had actually been agreed to.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering this office to carefully read any document labeled a “fee agreement,” ask detailed questions, and make sure you fully understand the scope of work and billing before providing payment. I would also recommend not providing payment until meaningful legal work, beyond an initial email or consultation, has actually begun and expectations are clearly defined.

As general advice, protect your personal and financial information. Be cautious about sharing card details over the phone unless you clearly understand the process and safeguards in place.

As a person of color, this experience raised serious concerns for me about how clients are treated and protected. Others from marginalized backgrounds may want to proceed with extra caution and ensure they fully understand all agreements and billing practices before moving forward.
