Despite her clear fear, he stripped her father of custody and ordered her to be forcibly sent to a "reunification camp"—a controversial practice that involves removing children from their preferred parent by force. His heartless ruling directly caused the child to run away in a state of terror. To make matters worse, he officially checked out and retired on July 16, 2024—the very same day the child went missing. He signed a life-altering, traumatic order and then immediately walked away from the public accountability of the bench to join this private firm. Is this the kind of "neutral" mediator you want? Someone who prioritizes rigid legal theories over a child’s safety and mental health? A man who retires in the middle of a crisis he helped create? Signature Resolution should be ashamed to host a professional with such a toxic track record. The community has a long memory.
