I found Kirk Smith to help a scammed and financially abused senior investor. On seeing the broker's history, Kirk's anger was palpable. Lawyers at two firms we first worked with had nowhere near Kirk's passion or humanity. Kirk is direct and efficient. His demand letters command responses and he knows what spurs regulators. Investing isn't rocket science. Most individual investors don't need a broker. But if under the thumb of one and losing money, call Kirk or his partners at SSEK. A few days after finding the firm's website, investorlawyers, I read a Don DeLillo story. A character in that tale says it best: "...see the top man. The top man is always in Houston."

The DEMAND LETTER that he drafted and emailed to the party which cheated me was worded forcefully, correctly and convincingly. I will hire him the next time I need legal services.
