Jeff was able to complete in 2 weeks what my previous attorney couldn't do in 2 years! He graciously took on an outstanding settlement from a divorce case that was 4 years old and needed someone to complete final steps. Jeff represented me on a couple of issues.

The major one was a land dispute with my County, who wanted to claim a small private easement as being a full-blown County Road, and they were stubborn and would not listen to reason, despite having no evidence that it ever was dedicated as a CR. It was a complex case, as suing the government always is, Jeff assembled all the pieces we brought together and made a strong case, in which we prevailed.

The previous matter was markedly more trivial, just a dishonest business deliberately misrepresenting the weight of a piece of machinery I transported for them, in order to get a lower rate. They seem to have had a habit of trying to cheat transporters and other businesses they interact with, and I'm guessing nobody else went through the trouble of making those fools pay. They managed to turn a few hundred dollars of an overage into nearly $3k of a negotiated pre-trial settlement, covering my attorney fees and also the original amount & late fees they owed me for the actual documented weight of the shipment.

I'm satisfied, going 2-0 so far on not being a doormat and letting others cheat me out of my own property or cheat me on business contracts. Too many people (and the government) are just too used to cheating others and not ever being taken to task.
