​I hired Shawn Perry in '2014 because she presented herself as a pitbull with a heart of gold, a lawyer who understood the trauma of divorce and shared my faith. She spoke often of God's plan, assuring me, "Everything will be okay," even as the settlement negotiations grew grim. I clung to her words, mistaking her spiritual platitudes for legal competence and genuine care.
​The moment the final papers were signed, the awful truth crystallized: she had completely failed me. My share of the assets was microscopic, my financial future unrecognizable. I realized her "best interest" was in maximizing billable hours, not protecting my security. Her empty assurances, once comforting, became a cruel joke. I walked out of that courtroom with a Bible verse ringing in my ears and absolutely nothing else. The woman I paid to fight for me had instead secured my ruin, wrapping her professional neglect in a shroud of piety.

I look at my beautiful daughter and see the most beautiful blessing!

I hired Shawn to have my record expunged. I told her of my concerns and she told me she wasn't concerned. After paying her, she would not contact me for months. I called and left messages, emails and talked with her assistant. I ended up having to sue Shawn and winning.

Although, when I went to cash the checks they were no good. I have contacted Shawn several times for new a check and she said it would be taken care of. That was several months ago and I still have not received a refund.

Another Lawsuit if forthcoming. If I was you, I would find different representation.
