Unbelievable they are the worse..they string you along...tell you story after story..constantly switching attorneys on yr case...been 8 yrs an we are still waiting for an outcome...they don't bother to give updates...avoid this clown show at all cost. You'll just be disappointed..

Not empathetic staff. Money hungry

Just got off the phone with an amazing consultation/conversation with Mark Shaevitz himself and it was by far the best advice I’ve gotten from any attorney i’ve spoken to, I had a situation with a food allergic reaction at a restaurant that sent me to the ER, and he was very straight up with me and gave me the best advice that was absolutely free… Every other attorney made it feel like it was either too difficult or they’d call me back… And never did. So I really appreciate the advice Mark, and hopefully it works out and if it does, I will leave another review to tell the tale of the result of your amazing advice! I had an accident in 2024 during which I was hit by a car while crossing the road. As soon as I spoke to Mark Shaevitz, I knew that I wanted him to represent me. Mark is knowledgeable and dedicated to his work. He helped me with many of the questions I had during one of the worst time’s of my life, the consequences of which I am still experiencing physically and long term. Albeit the results were not what I wished for, I understood that Mark attempted his best and still represented me to date, so I am grateful for his work.

Unfortunately, the remainder of Mark’s team is highly unprofessional and failed at simple tasks that they were hired to help me with. 5 months into my accident, I did not receive wage loss compensation that I was entitled to due to lack of communication and follow up from Joseph, the paralegal. I sent all the paperwork in to them within a month of my accident, but the email was quite literally ignored. I followed up another month later with little reply back. 5 months to date now, they never got in touch with me or helped me get what I am entitled to - wage loss compensation. I contacted the insurance adjuster on my own, who advised that the law office failed to send them required forms. The work that Shaevitz and Shaevitz failed to do in 5 months, I completed in under 2 days and was awarded the full amount for wage loss compensation. This was really disappointing to see the consistent lack of communication by the Shaevitz and Shaevitz team as it pertained to this. They also failed to follow up with other essentials tasks - I asked them for a summary of the funds spent on No Fault health insurance benefits, to which they never replied to me. I ended up utilizing my private insurance at times, where I have a high co-pay, due to fear of not having no fault funds. Once again, the adjuster helped me address this while the law office failed to. As it turns out, I’ll be having IME check in soon to evaluate basic PT and health expenses, which the law office never mentioned once.

Overall, I cannot not recommend Shaevitz and Shaevitz due to their demonstrated sloppy work and inconsistency. Frankly, Mark’s team does not have their client’s best interest at heart. This business is an evident demonstration of people who talk more than they do. I highly recommend you seek law representation elsewhere, or that Mark reevaluates his staff’s competency in achieving required tasks. Mark is clearly very equipped at the job he does, but the team representing him is not up to par.
