As a 20+ year corporate leader, I could have never imagined challenging an employer - let alone on a legal matter. After an especially troubling experience at work, I realized I had no other choice. I knew I needed a firm capable of standing up to a large Fortune 500 organization with a legal army at their disposal.

Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight is exactly that firm. They are truly at the top of their game. From our first conversation, Schwanda, Raevyn, and Luke brought a grounded confidence that immediately reassured me I had found the right team. They built a strong legal strategy and made me feel like a strong partner at every step.

What stood out most was their balance of strength and humanity. They were meticulous, strategic, and unrelenting when it mattered, yet always compassionate. I felt like someone they cared about and not just a number. It was a difficult case with imperfect evidence, but their work led to a far better outcome than I could have imagined - including winning a challenging appeal.

Beyond the result, what I’m most grateful for is how they treated me with genuine empathy and respect. If you’re someone who has faced mistreatment at work and felt you might not have recourse - you can put your trust in this team to be strong, smart, and passionate advocates.

Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight is excellent in their field, and I will always be thankful to Schwanda, Raevyn, and Luke for helping me find light during one of the darkest periods of my life.

This review reflects my personal experience with this firm.

I hate that Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight treated me the way they did. I came to them vulnerable, seeking help with a serious workplace retaliation issue. I was hopeful especially after reading their glowing testimonials. I reached out seeking help with a serious workplace retaliation and discrimination issue. I was grateful when Attorney Kate Muetig contacted me, especially after reading the many positive testimonials on the firm’s website. However, I quickly sensed that my situation wasn’t being taken seriously. But from the moment they asked about my salary, I knew my experience wasn’t their priority. It became clear that the firm prioritizes cases with higher financial damages over the actual merit or urgency of an employee’s experience.

What made the experience even more frustrating was being asked to submit documentation, only to later be declined, not by the attorney I spoke with, but by someone else entirely (Alec Konstantin). If there was no intention to assist, I don’t understand why I was asked to provide sensitive documents. The process felt dismissive and disheartening, especially for someone simply trying to stand up for their rights.

If you’re a regular American worker earning under $100K, I would caution you before reaching out to this firm. In my experience, their model seems more aligned with high-dollar cases than with advocating for everyday employees seeking justice. It hurts to realize that justice, for some firms, seems reserved for those with high-dollar cases. Regular workers deserve better.
