Sanborn & Sine

My brother and I hired David Sine around October 2008 to represent us in a trust contest issue. We trusted in his ability and expertise, but unfortunately, he disappointed us greatly at a huge expense to us. We went to court and the judge said that if she was to rule on the newer amended trust, that she would rule that it would be invalid and thus be a trust contest (an unlawful amendment) subjecting us to a complete forfeiture of our inheritance ($900,000). We were offered two settlement letters from our older brother's lawyer (the plaintiff) and the 2nd letter we thought was fair, but our lawyer said "my brother Tim did not do anything wrong!" David directly challenged the courts' opinion previously stated to us in Superior Court. David Sine continued the case for another 7 months and shockingly took us to trial, thus, continuing to charge us a large sum of money. Why did you do this David? The Orange County Court already told you to your face that the amendments were disallowed and not legal. By either his lack of legal knowledge in this area or his avarice and greed to continue the case, he cost us over $125,000.00 in lost family money that never should have occurred. He also was over two hours late for a deposition in Newport Beach with the opposing lawyer. I would never ever send my worst enemy to this one-man show lawyer. Last time I looked he was still practicing as a "one man" office. Mr. Sanborne, his old law partner, died approximately twenty years ago, so he is NOT a large or even a medium size law office, he is just a "one-man show". David tries to handle many different aspects of law and this is where we made a crucial mistake in contracting with him. We learned a very hard lesson in believing and trusting in attorney David Sine. What a mistake!

They contacted me to tell me I had a "delinquent" payment for taxes. They should double check and be sure they know all their facts or perhaps wait for the servicing company to receive the mail since they moved offices and the mail need to be forwarded. What a joke! I told them to contact my attorney and not me. I don't have time to waste with their nonsense. I have work to do. My attorney and the Loan company laughed. They said that's how shady people are when they think they can wrongfully foreclose. This company is a joke with clown attorney's.

I had the privilege of David Sine representing me in a trial de novo in San Diego Superior Court. He demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm, expertise and attentiveness that was quite a pleasant surprise (I consulted 3 other attorneys before, who didn't have the experience, expertise or compassion to take up a small claim trial de novo).
