I do not recommend San Diego Injury Law Center based on my personal experience. Initially, my case was handled by David T. Achord, Esq., but without consulting me, it was reassigned to Matthew Majd, Esq.

At the beginning, I was told that the attorney fee percentage was 33%, but it was never clearly explained to me that simply attempting to go to arbitration would increase the fee to 40%. This information was included in the contract, which was written in English, and I did not fully understand the language.

Communication was inconsistent throughout the process, with the secretary, the attorney, and the translator often providing different information. In summary, I felt uninformed and pressured, which is why I do not recommend San Diego Injury Law Center.

One of the biggest problems I had was the lack of communication and clarity. At first, they responded to my calls and messages, but afterward it became very difficult to get responses. My attorney was initially David Achord, but later I discovered that my case had been reassigned to Matthew Majd without notifying me.

I also received different information depending on whom I spoke with. The secretary would tell me one thing, the attorney another, and the translator something different. The explanations constantly changed, and many times I did not know which information was correct.

I felt that important aspects of my case were not clearly explained to me. On several occasions, I was given different estimates regarding how much money I could receive after expenses and attorney fees. I also received different information about medical costs and the deductions applied to the settlement. This left me feeling confused and distrustful because the figures and explanations seemed to change over time.

In addition, they sent me documents in English even though Spanish is my primary language. I believe that information this important should be clearly explained in a language that the client understands.

From the beginning, I explained that I have three children and that I preferred to try to resolve the case through negotiation. However, during some conversations, I felt pressured to pursue strategies that I did not agree with. I also felt pressured to attend additional medical appointments and receive treatments that, in my opinion, were not helping me. When I expressed my concerns, I felt that my opinions were not being taken into consideration.

Overall, my experience was marked by communication problems, a lack of clarity, constant changes in the information I received, and a feeling that I was not being heard as a client. For these reasons, I personally would not recommend San Diego Injury Law Center.
