Possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a professional service. This firm is a SCAM. run for the hills. hire LITERALLY anyone else.

I hired them to help me evict a squatter. 3 months and $7000 later, the attorneys refused to speak with me over the phone, only by email. In these emails, they accused me of being "dodgy", "shady", and "gaslighting" them, because I asked if I could clarify a discrepancy on a form over the phone. My squatter was a Con-artist and continuously infused confusion into the process, which my attorneys decided was reason to attack ME, rather than help me sort through the noise, and build a strong case against the tenant.

The firm, promptly collected their fees, pushed papers around for 3 months to do "legal" work, then proceeded to inform me, ON THE DATE OF OUR TRIAL, that I had no right to legally rent out the unit to begin with, therefore our eviction case would be thrown out of court and our only option would be settling with the tenant.

Confused, I asked them why they waited 3 months and until the date of trial before letting me know that all of the "legal" filing and paperwork I paid them to do was effectively pointless.

ultimately, I still paid the squatter cash to leave the property. WHen I confronted them about the seemingly unethical decision to accept my payments and proceed with filing paperwork, knowing that the case would be thrown out, they continued to push the blame onto me, when I requested a refund through my credit card provider, the attorney (first time speaking to them on the phone), called from a blocked number and proceeded to threaten me with criminal fraud charges, unless I dropped the transaction dispute.

Unlike this firm, I cannot file and prep my own defense paperwork, as I am not an attorney. Therefore, I was completely at their mercy to just accept the situation. Overall, this entire experience left a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth about Rachel Callahan and her firm. If leaving a review is the only thing I am able to do, hopefully it can save at least one person from making a big mistake by hiring this company.
