Pamela Baker was, in my experience, a deeply harmful figure in family court. She projected authority, but I did not experience that authority as fair, balanced, or humane. I experienced her as intimidating, rigid, and willing to use the power of the bench in ways that felt coercive rather than just. Instead of creating confidence in the integrity of the process, she left me with the impression that fear, pressure, and imbalance were accepted parts of how she operated.

She was clearly commanding and comfortable exercising power, but in my experience those traits did not translate into fairness. They translated into an atmosphere that felt punitive, controlling, and deeply damaging. A judge, and now an attorney, should inspire trust in judgment, ethics, and restraint. My experience led me to the opposite conclusion.

I would not recommend her to anyone who values integrity, fairness, or basic human decency in the legal process.
