Do NOT hire this man for any reason you will be out of money and thoroughly disappointed, perhaps even angry depending on the circumstances. I retained him for a custody case. I divorced a violent fellow with disgusting proclivities towards children, and the child victim ended up in his care. Mr Jones signed my jacket and did nothing else that he promised according to the contract. As 2 other reviewers have stated, he's absolutely unprofessional, unorganized, condescending and rude. He once shushed me during a hearing when i told him to object and present the rebuttal evidence that i had in my possession. And for God's sake do not hire him for anything family law related. He is not familiar with the laws of family court nor DCS policy and procedures...after losing a no-brainer case and i mean completely botched, he admitted to me that he really only handles criminal matters. As stated also by another reviewer, he does not keep correspondence and communcation at all and will claim that he "forgot" you had court. He once sent another attorney unrelated to the matter to represent me and ask for a continuance because he "forgot" and was occupied elsewhere with another client... and I'm sure it's a violation of ethics. He broke confidence by discussing the status of his representation with the opposition's attorney, lied like he didn't, as if she could've known what our private conversations were otherwise. She actually stated it in court after I had to file an extension pro se to get time to retain another firm. He accepted my $2XXX retainer and never filed a single motion or petition on my behalf. He never interviewed me to get any background detail, evidence or pertinent information to defend my position and did not contact or subpoena willing witnesses to corroborate my case. He also told me that the magistrate in my case was corrupt and " had it out for me , so i wasnt going to win no matter what he did" He's a terrible attorney and you will regret hiring him. I terminated him and requested a detailed billing explanation of hours spent and tasks performed on my case , which I have yet to receive. I will be filing a Bar Association Complaint and Surety Bond Claim against him in the near future. Additionally, Mr Jones has a criminal record that included a federal conviction for methamphetamine manufacturing and it can be found in his state bar listing as they suspended his license and how he got it returned is still a mystery. He is also an alcoholic and drug addict via his own admission according to court records. He's grossly unqualified and his undergraduate degree is in Agricultural Science . Again DO NOT RETAIN THIS MAN for any reason. I'm pretty sure the positive review is a sham because it's the same script verbatim on every website. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOLKS. Attached to this review are the records attesting to his shortcomings that resulted in a suspension of his license by the bar. This man should NOT be practicing law.

Currently just trying to get Mr.Jones to sign off on my custody order that my lawyer Ms.Dowdy is constantly sending him so that me and my child's mother no longer have to argue. The guardian ad litem has already done investigation, and signatured off on the order last year ,I have all the threats where Ms.shields telling me I'll never see my daughter again after me , and my family raised her for the last 4 years any time she gets angry she uses my child against me , and makes up all types of lies to keep her away, just because I don't want to deal with her anymore. IF YOU SEE THIS MR.Shannon Please sign Off on the case for Gabriella Sheilds. I'm her father Corderious Booker ,I have proof that I am constantly trying to see my child when I'm not working , this case has been open, and ongoing for an entire year ,because you refuse to sign off on it .I Just wonder WHY?? Spoke with a lady and she automatically caught an attitude soon as I spoke. Sooooo unprofessional , would not recommend at all !!!
