As a 2L at Emory, I'm accustomed to a certain standard of professionalism, one clearly alien to this firm. My journey for representation on COVID traffic tickets, ongoing for two years due to pandemic-related continuances, led me to this… establishment. It has, if nothing else, served as a painful, $6,000 lesson: never pay attorneys 100% upfront until your case is resolved. This is basic practice, something any reputable firm in St. Louis or Atlanta—the kind that actually operates efficiently—would adhere to.
Incompetence on Full Display
The atty assigned didn't deign to show up for my case until June of last year – two years after I engaged their services! To then accuse me of being unresponsive after I paid him cash with the explicit understanding that my presence would be limited is not just insulting, it's a testament to a level of ethical bankruptcy you'd rarely encounter outside of a first-year law school hypothetical on professional misconduct. For $6,000, I essentially received nothing but the privilege of shopping for another attorney, a process made easier only by Georgia's thankfully diverse legal market, unlike the apparent scarcity of competent counsel at this particular address.
This experience is precisely why individuals with serious legal needs gravitate towards the established, professional environments of firms like Bryan Cave or King & Spalding. They offer a baseline of competence and client service that is simply bewilderingly absent here. Save your money, and more importantly, save your sanity. This firm is, quite simply, out of its depth, and it shows.
