I have hired this office for the case to end with the attorney recusing herself for conflict of interest after over 3 years of stalls. It is my belief, and based on experience there is a major "buddy-buddy" system among legal representation in Blount county and that "buddy-buddy" system revolves arround the highest bidder over the cost of other peoples children.
It is my experience Daphane Moffatt will talk a good game, but when it comes time to deliver she rolls over and or is corrupted.
Would I recommend this office for a custody case? NO, not if you ever wanted to get anything done in your favor, or with fairness, or defence against malicious prosicution, let alone done by any standard or legal time frame in this country.
I feel absolutley betrayed not once but twice, and years of being strung along while she did nothing but the bidding of the opposing council. It also seems there may be a drug issue inside of the office based on certin observations to include the appearance of those inside the office, and inability to follow through with any agreement or to hold the opposing counsel accountable for any agreements broken.
The biggest mistake I had made in my custody case was hiring this office, ever, to assist me in what was most important, and that is a relationship with my children, in which I have details on how this office has failed myself, and my children miserably and without remorse (though I had been apologized to repeatedly by Daphane Moffatt personaly over her decisions and lack of action during this case.) They were happy to take the money without a day in court after 3 years of stalling, and dirrectly lying to my face repeatedly.
I still haven't been to court or been heard over something that requires 14 days maximum for a date in court by law. Her willingness to work for the bennifit of, and wishes from opposing council rather than her client (to me) seems not only unethical, misleading, but also absolutley corrupted and any potential client deserves to know my experience before making there purchase in funding this office. I do not feel I could have been strung along or let down any further or harder than what I had experienced from this office and Blount County's method for custody cases.
In the end, based on my experience, Daphane Moffatt is corrupt, incompetent, and incapible of fairness, based on results.
