I am very disappointed with the customer service I received from the office staff. I called on behalf of my grandfather who was sitting next to me to get information from his attorney regarding a case that was resolved some time ago. The receptionist took down my information and questions around 1:00 PM and told me very nicely we should receive a call back shortly or to follow up around 4:30 PM if we hadn’t heard anything. When I hadn’t received a response by 4:40 PM I called back and spoke with the same staff member. I was then informed that they could not discuss the case with me and that my grandfather would need to call directly, which I completely understand. I then asked if we could schedule a video or phone appointment so my grandfather could speak with the attorney while my aunt (his daughter) and I assist him. At that point the staff member responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner questioning why I needed to be present and stating that it was “weird” that I was involved when my grandpa knows his attorney and herself very well for so many year's and that he can call his attorney himself. she definitely made it known she knows my grandpa very well which I thought was very strange. For context, my grandfather is in his 70s, recently relocated, and no longer has access to many of his documents or contact information. He also has a new phone and was unable to locate the office’s number on his own as he can be forgetful at times which is why I assisted him. Additionally, Spanish is his primary language, and I was unaware that the office may have Spanish speaking staff available(my first time ever dealing with this office) My only intention was to help him communicate effectively and ensure he understood the information being provided. The tone and comments made by the staff member were discouraging and made me feel as though I was doing something inappropriate when in reality I was simply trying to support an elderly family member. I would appreciate more professionalism, understanding, and sensitivity in situations like this, especially when family members are assisting older clients.

Rory is one of the most caring personal injury attorneys out there. In our dealings with him, he showed interest in our well being and was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. He always had our best interests in mind.
