Robert Ringstrom served as the guardian ad litem (GAL) in my parental rights termination case. His duty was to represent the best interests of my children, but instead, he became another extension of a broken and corrupt system. He ignored critical evidence, failed to advocate for the safety and well-being of my daughters, and stood by while my parental rights were wrongfully terminated. After being adopted, my daughters, Abby and Payton, were placed into an abusive home where they suffered horrific trauma — something that might have been prevented had Mr. Ringstrom taken his role seriously and done his due diligence. A GAL is supposed to be the voice for the children, but instead, he chose to turn a blind eye to the truth and protect the very system that failed my family. My daughters are paying the price for his failure to do his job.
