I personally would not recommend this law firm to family or friends.

Rise law is the most unethical and unprofessional company I have ever worked with. In my opinion, Maryanne is a horrible person to work with. I would’ve rather stayed married to my ex husband than work with her in the future. After showing proof of things that I asked for that were not included in the finalized divorce paperwork, she denies ever receiving my correspondence, and takes zero accountability for her mistakes. After looking further into Maryanne, she currently has a pending disciplinary case against her with the Oregon State Bar. Additionally, in the three months I worked with Rise, I contacted the office about 40 times via phone call and only received two calls back, and many unanswered emails, resulting in loss of over $10,000 and counting.

Jaime is a joke she will charge you over and over for things she has already done then go to court and not say a word we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for her to not fight in court then at the end of the hearing she said I’ll do all the filing papers without asking us first and is charging us 1,500 dollars to do it she is one of the worst attorneys I’ve ever dealt with and all she wants is your money she will charge you hundreds for emails phones calls and recharges you to do the same paperwork if she messes up do not waste your money

I have to give one star to post a review but to be honest I wish I could give negative 5 stars. I am not a former client of this firm. I am leaving this based on conduct I personally witnessed while attending court-related proceedings involving someone close to me. These proceedings drug out for almost 2 years where I personally witnessed Maryanne Pitcher yell at an opposing party and his parents in the lobby, while leaving the courthouse she would make a highly inappropriate comments about their son to family member, mocking and poking fun of the car they drive . Even making a flipping-off gesture towards them while getting on the elevator. This was already a very challenging time for both families with children involved and I found this conduct extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. I also personally observed repeated issues involving missing or incorrect information, repeated requests for information, and communications regarding calls that did not occur. Based on what I personally witnessed, I would not recommend this attorney.
