Richard H. Boatwright quoted "between" $4,800 and $5,200 (trust, Will x2,POAx2). Paid $200 for a 30 min consult, He asked for $200 more (that day) for trust "design draft." We made edits to design for accuracy and he became angry and had his legal assistant EMAIL us telling us "Dick could not help." Zero explanation. I politely asked Dick to call to discuss. He refused. Sent email saying because we "changed wording" we should find another attorney. There is no embellishment here. We don't fully understand his mind-set in this. We think maybe he decided he didn't want to do the work after the quote so created a reason to disengage. Or perhaps he "high-balled" the quote thinking we'd walk out after the $200 half hour consultation. He kept the $400 and wrote "no charge for extra work trying to complete draft." Huh? as if he were being generous? We'll never know. But the guy is shady at best. The fact he asked for $200 more the same day of initial consult was strange in hindsight. Proceed with caution.
