When Rich first met me, he looked me in the eye and said, “don’t worry, we’ll get you through this.” And more than followed through on that promise. He and his wonderful team adroitly handled all the great difficulties and unexpected obstacles that arose during what unfortunately turned into a very long and painful process (not through any fault of his). His deep knowledge of the law, his adversarial skill in the courtroom; his ability to manage the many personalities involved; his willingness to answer my (hopefully not-too-frequent) off-hours calls, texts, and emails; and, most of all, his deep patience, kindness, and compassion, did, in fact, get me through this. Shout out also to Rich’s wonderful associates, who are clearly following in his footsteps, and who also stepped up to help me when duty (very frequently) called; and to Rich’s diligent and kind staff, who quickly took care of everything (and it was a lot of things) that needed to get done.
