Highly recommended Ricardo Skerrett and his team. Despite a previous lawyer telling my husband he would never be able to adjust status and another filer misfiling our paperwork after telling us it would be at least 10 years before my husband could possibly be a resident ,today he had his green card in hand 🙏 Words cannot express how grateful we are . This attorney not only picked up where others had failed us but educated and directed us in how the process would and should go . We had to redo the whole process (due to an error by previous person we had hired ). They communicated with us through every step and stayed on top of everything USCIS requested from us. We re-filed in March 2026 and in just 4 months our interview was scheduled .Our lawyer accompanied us to the interview which we were very thankful for, as soon as we walked in the building with him you could tell the staff there had the upmost respect for him. The lawyer Ricardo Skerret told my husband he would submit an application through his brother, who is a citizen. My husband told him no, that he didn't want that service because it would take too long. My husband had already paid him and told him to return the money so he could find another lawyer. The lawyer said he would give it back, but he didn't. We had an appointment on July 16th to talk with him and reach an agreement, and today he called and threatened us not to show up, saying he would call the police on us. He is an abuser, knowing the current state of immigration. My husband is unemployed, I am pregnant, and we have four children. We have proof that he didn't provide the service and that he has the money. I am posting this so that others are careful with this lawyer. May God help us and not forsake us.
