Very Disappointing Experience We hired this attorney to represent my daughter in a very serious domestic violence and restraining order case. We expected legal guidance, preparation, and a clear strategy. Unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. We felt unprepared and unsupported during an already stressful and serious situation. Families dealing with domestic violence and restraining orders need clear communication, preparation, and guidance. Sadly that was not our experience.

I was disappointed with my experience with this attorney. Throughout my case, I often felt that communication, transparency, and overall support did not meet my expectations. I also found the billing process difficult to understand and was frustrated by charges that I felt were not clearly explained to me at the time. During an already extremely stressful legal situation, I was hoping to feel more informed, supported, and confident in my representation. Instead I frequently felt uncertain about what was happening and what I was being charged for. Ultimately, I decided that continuing this attorney-client relationship was not the right choice for me and chose to represent myself instead. I understand that every client may have a different experience, and this review reflects only my experience. Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend this attorney❗️

My fiancé and I scheduled a consultation in hopes of hiring legal representation for an on going custody case in place. We were requesting assistance for request for custody order modification. Instead we felt the attorney was very unprofessional towards the information shared by providing negative advice towards our situation and provided wrong information, where to refile for custody order based off the information provided. This is the reason why individuals seek legal representation “for assistance” but we were told we needed a hearing before we could be legally represented. I would not recommend this place due to the leak of professionalism for fathers.

I can't express the extent of my gratitude for Carina and the positive outcome she made possible due to her professionalism, wit, and hardwork. Divorce and child custody is never a simple thing, but she walked me through, step by step, a very high conflict situation with my mentally unstable ex. Her office took care of the filings, communication with the opposing side, provided guidance and expertise on how to construct my statements, etc. I would have been lost with all the forms alone, but she and her assistants made an overwhelming process straightforward. I appreciated how quick Carina was to get things done and how much care she put into her work to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my kids. She helped me organize my documents/photos/testimony to bring forward a strong case and the judge granted me full legal and physical custody as well as a 5-year restraining order for the other party. As a mother, knowing my kids will be safe from my ex for at least the next 5 years, was worth every penny. I am thankful every single day. I highly recommend her to my friends and family and for anyone out there contemplating divorce/child custody - don't do it alone, let Carina help you. Thank you, Carina!!!
