I highly recommend Regina and team for your NY-based estate planning needs. My husband and I wanted to get our estate plan in order before our son’s arrival, but honestly, had no idea where to start or what documents we actually needed for our specific situation. The whole process felt a bit overwhelming.

From our first meeting, Regina made everything clear and manageable. She walked us through each step, explained what each document was for, and answered all our questions, even the ones that probably seemed basic. She has this great way of being both thorough and personable; she’s funny and genuinely easy to work with, which made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward.

Her team Valmira and Elvira were equally helpful and responsive throughout. Together, they prepared a comprehensive package for us: our Wills, Advance Directives (including Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, Authorization to Obtain Protected Health Information, Health Care Declaration, Appointment of Agent to Control Disposition of Remains, Nomination of Guardian, and Designation of Guardian). Every document felt tailored to our situation.

We managed to get all the paperwork signed in time for the arrival of our little one which gave us extra peace of mind. 😅

Working with Regina Kipperman was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Her depth of knowledge is immediately clear, but what really sets her apart is how she uses that expertise to guide and empower her clients. Regina is thorough, thoughtful, and remarkably attentive — she never made me feel rushed, and she always made sure I understood my options.

She combines sharp legal insight with a calm, reassuring presence, which is exactly what you want when navigating anything complex or stressful. Regina is the kind of attorney who earns your trust quickly and keeps it through her consistency, integrity, and genuine care.

I’m grateful for her help and would recommend her without hesitation.

My experience with Regina Kiperman was disappointing and did not meet my expectations for a professional consultation.

I scheduled a 60-minute Google Meet appointment, but was notified after the scheduled start time that she was unavailable. I was flexible in rescheduling and provided a detailed packet of documentation in advance, including court filings and newly discovered evidence for her review.

During our follow-up conversation, it did not appear that my materials had been reviewed. The assessment I received was based primarily on the fact that the case had already gone through litigation, without meaningful discussion of the specific evidence or procedural issues I raised.

Given the complexity of my matter, I was hoping for at least a preliminary review of the materials I submitted. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my case received that level of consideration.

While others may have a different experience, this consultation did not provide the level of preparation or analysis I was expecting.

Update:
Thank you for your response. To clarify,(even though previously stated) my review was based on the consultation experience itself—not on whether I retained your firm.

The appointment was scheduled as a 60-minute consultation, and I submitted a detailed packet in advance for review. I was notified after the scheduled start time that you were unavailable, and during our follow-up, there was no indication that the materials had been reviewed prior to forming a conclusion.

My feedback reflects that lack of preparation and the missed opportunity for a substantive evaluation, particularly given the complexity of the matter and the materials provided.

I respect your decision not to take the case, but I stand by my experience.

Regina and team were responsive, thorough, and reasonably priced in helping my family set up our estate planning documents. Would happily work with them again.

Regina Kiperman successfully represented my sister and me in an intestacy case at the Queens NY surrogate court. She is competent, her services were timely, and her fee was fair.
