It was pretty stressful (and painful) when I was struck in a zebra crosswalk, as a pedestrian in DC, by a valet parking attendant driving an SUV --on my birthday, just before my birthday dinner. While I was laid up, a work colleague recommended Paul Cornoni at this firm. I cannot recommend Paul enough. In fact, I have recommended him to at least 3-4 others. He and his staff were attentive and aware of my need first, to heal, but also to eliminate my stress following the collision. He and his staff completely eliminated the anxiety of having to negotiate and litigate for my medical bills, pain and suffering, and the impact the carelessness had on my family. He later managed another negotiation with an insurance company when yet another SUV driver rear-ended me in VA. (I now consider him my own personal injury attorney, if God forbid, something else happens.) He is more than competent and knowledgeable. He is ethical, kind, and sympathetic. I'm an attorney myself, and although personal injury is not my specialty, I never once felt like I was dealing with a shady ambulance chaser or shyster, and he always kept me aware of how things were progressing. He is licensed in DC, MD, VA, and Massachusetts and the fees were appropriate, consistent with the norm, and reasonable. He actually periodically checks in on me and my family because he understands the lifelong impact a pedestrian collision can have on a person.
