Took a very large retainer and refused to provide any billing information to prove where the retainer went over a simple case. Lurking around courtrooms looking for people to try and dupe. Beware!

Joshua approached us at the courthouse to help me with my step dad in a misdemeanor case. He took payment on the spot for a $3000 retainer (a misdemeanor fee). He then gave us minimal help. The prosecuting attorney was in touch with us more than Josh. We never saw Josh after that first encounter. I had to track him down through his office which was difficult. I had called the office several times to get a statement and to see what kind of costs were involved. Apparently he took all $3000 for two motions that were filed. That’s it! Two motions that were as simple as can be. We had one phone call, two motions filed and two emails and nothing else for $3000. They still refuse to talk to me, send me a statement or acknowledge any of my phone calls. The office acts like I am a joke when I call. It is a shame being treated like that especially when my stepdad is dying of cancer and is suffering from Alzheimer’s. He has only weeks to live and Josh cannot find the time to explain to him the charges. Nice!
