I found my experience with Rebecca to be extremely unprofessional, expensive and disappointing.

Multiple times Rebecca missed scheduled meetings or had to leave early from meetings. I felt as though I had to be the one moving the ball forward so as to get the document done before the wedding. There were multiple times VERY close to the wedding date, where my emails were ignored for days requiring me to call the office directly. It did not feel like priority was given to our case until the wedding was actually upon us which I found very unprofessional and which further delayed the finalization of the document. The days leading up to the wedding were stressful and aggravating as I spent all my time and energy trying to get this document finalized instead of focusing on being emotionally present with my soon to be wife.

Throughout our correspondence, Rebecca repeatedly made simple mistakes, or did not include verbiage that was specifically requested. On our contract, she listed a $450 hourly rate for herself, and a $125 rate for her clerk (assistant). Pay no attention to the $125 rate which she implies she will use. She billed me for exactly 0 (zero) hours at this rate, ALL hours were billed at her full $450 rate including extremely simple dictations or mistakes/correction on her part. For a simple prenuptial agreement, I was quoted initially for about 3000. She ended up billing me over double that because of a dragged out process that I feel was due to Rebecca's conduct, possibly intentionally.

Because of all of the above, we did not finalize and sign the final document until the DAY OF our first wedding festivities. This is the point I found most upsetting. It's difficult to put a price on the emotional toll of starting what is meant to be a very special day by signing a gross legal document outlining the terms of our potential separation.

BEWARE of her contract. There is a clause that essentially says she can charge whatever she wants, and in the event that you need to go to court to protest fraudulent charges YOU are responsible for ALL legal expenses including hers. DO NOT SIGN THIS. You will have no recourse to legally combat bad faith business practices or straight up fraud.

For the sake of your money and family, avoid doing business here at all cost.

Ms. Byrd goes above and beyond just being a lawyer. Our family will be forever grateful for the years and countless hours she has spent on my son’s case. She cares about each individual client, she’s busy yet very prompt. She’s on top of everything. Truly a godsend.

I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am to Rebecca and the friend that recommended her to me. She worked tirelessly on my case and always knew how to calm me during the most stressful time in my life. I never felt like just a client but rather like someone she truly cared about and now that everything is settled I still feel the same. I wish I could give more than five stars because they are definitely deserved.
