My Fiancé had some demons in his closet from nearly a decade ago that he has finally addressed. He states he has been a very difficult client to Curt, not because of anything personal but because of how tough and unfavorable his legal position was. He will be released very soon and he wanted me to post this review even before his release. He is so thankful that he says this review needed to be written and posted before he does anything else. "I was in an absolutely devastating position. This situation reminded me constantly of one of my late chess instructors saying to never give up and find the best possible move. Even in an absolutely devastating position, there is still a BEST move you can make. That move turned out to being represented by Curt Murtha. The prosecution dragged their feet and the system was grinding me down day after day. Curt negotiated a time served offer which dropped nearly 5 - 10 years in which I was facing, down to a couple months. I just got back to the jail after court with a relief, awaiting my release, called my fiancé and decided to write this. Two violent felonies, down to 2 misdemeanors. Curt showed up for me while he had court in another county, rushed his way to fight for me in time for my court same day in Tampa, all while being sick. To add some context: I originally got extradited for DV felony Battery and Aggravated assault w/ a deadly weapon in 2018 from LA to Tampa. I bonded out and basically skipped out from court and disappeared until 2026 where I was extradited back but this time from NY. I was young , naive and a complete fool. I know every case is different but if you're reading this review, just give him a call. You'll feel a mix of warmth and competency which is the very definition of charisma. Those traits played a part in the court room and every step along the entire court process. Curt is a tall, sharp, precise and attentive to every little detail. Thank you Curt. Thank you so much. “
