I was initially very interested in retaining Pozo Goldstein for a complex immigration matter and paid the consultation fee specifically to secure an in-person meeting with Mr. Steven Goldstein. However, I quickly discovered that getting on his actual in-person calendar is incredibly difficult, and the firm lacks basic transparency about his availability. After paying, the intake staff repeatedly told me that they simply 'did not have his in-person schedule,' without offering any estimated timeframe or timeline. I sent a polite follow-up email last week just to get a rough idea of when a schedule might become available, but my email was completely ignored. After waiting for nearly a week with zero response, I had to call the office myself on Monday, only to be told the exact same thing—still no schedule available. I immediately requested a full refund. While the attorneys here might be skilled in court, the open-ended waiting process and the unresponsiveness of the support staff are massive red flags. If a firm is this disorganized and unresponsive when trying to acquire you as a client, it’s hard to trust them with critical deadlines for an actual high-stakes case. Look elsewhere if you value clear communication and accessible attorneys.

I usually rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's necessary to share my experience so that others looking for a lawyer can be better informed. Here are some key points: When I booked the consultation, the assistant sent me an email stating the fee was $125 USD. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged $150 USD. I wondered why the price had increased, but the email was never updated — it felt like the client was made to bear the cost of their mistake. I paid the $150 consultation fee and had sent all of my background information to the lawyer in advance. However, during the consultation, it was clear that the lawyer had not reviewed my documents. Most of the consultation time was spent with me simply explaining my own background again. In the end, I did not receive any analysis or solutions for my case — only a quote for services.
