If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Peterson Watts Law Group, specifically with Glenn Peterson, was highly unprofessional and a complete waste of valuable time. I reached out to this firm in May seeking local litigation counsel for a commercial contract dispute. Glenn Peterson replied within minutes. He explicitly stated in writing that he had no conflicts and that bandwidth was not a problem. He invited me to send over my case files, promising he would review the package at no charge and provide his preliminary thoughts. I sent the documents over that exact same evening, and he replied confirming he would watch for them. Then came absolute silence for over a month. After waiting five weeks, I sent a polite follow-up email on June 18th. Still nothing. I finally had to call the firm myself just to get an answer. Instead of receiving basic professional courtesy or the preliminary thoughts I was promised, I was given a roundabout, evasive brush-off indicating they did not want to take my case. It is entirely fine if a law firm decides a case is not a good fit for them. What is completely unacceptable is telling a prospective client you have the bandwidth, promising a review, ignoring them for over a month, and forcing them to chase you down on the phone just to get a weak rejection. In litigation, time is critical. Glenn Peterson completely lacked communication, follow-through, and basic professional decency, which significantly delayed my search for counsel. If you want an attorney who actually does what they say they will do and respects your time, look elsewhere.

I’ve had an awesome experience with Richard Placido of Peterson Watts. I reached out to him in desperate need of a trademark (really I needed it about a year ago 🫠🫠🫠.) He walked me through the options and made the whole process seem much less intimidating and was much more optimistic than other attorneys I’d consulted with on the matter. He’s also been very responsive in making sure that this matter gets taken care of for me. I can’t recommend him enough!
