I was a completely innocent person who was accused of crime i never committed, by a neighbor who stole a big chunk of my land and wanted to keep it. Eventually the DA dropped the charges. But before that I hired Justin Petersen to represent me but he made my case worse, betrayed confidentiality telling the DA and the Judge something I'd told him in confidence, that wasn’t even relevant to my case. It changed the way that I was perceived and caused me untold hardship and difficulty in the Mendocino County Superior Court. Do not trust Justin Petersen, he’s a horrible person and an inept lawyer. Every where you go, even out of County you will hear great things about Justin Petersen. I did not like him but I hired him because of all the fabulous reviews. But the reviews are for his father, Justin Petersen Senior, who is now deceased. But all the reviews for his Father are still posted every where and people think that the reviews are for Justin Petersen Junior on School Street, in Ukiah. BEWARE: Justin Junior will take your money, promising you anything to get your business then do nothing for you. He will wait until the DA offers something like Diversion or a Plea bargain and that's what you will get from Justin Petersen. He will not negotiate or take one minute of his time to try to get you a better deal. He lacks ethics and is tied into the DA and Judges in Superior Court. He does whatever they tell him to do without any regard for the effect it will have on his Client. He’s vindictive, punishing and mean. I am an innocent person who ended up being charged with crimes I did not commit. What Justin said to me was, "you committed the crime, now all thats left is to determine the punishment". Justin Petersen is a Prosecutor wearing Defense Attorney Clothes...RUN for your life as far as you can ...and do not hire this Attorney under any circumstances..i was innocent and eventually i hired a good lawyer and the DA dropped my charges. But not before Justin made my case worse.

Great , Mr Petersen took time to explain our case.......knows his stuff. Confirmed what we already thought . I should add that he represented one of us before successfully and he took time out of his schedule to talk to Tim about another matter. Class act .
