Never responded to or acknowledged my request via their website and when I called to follow up were unpleasant and hung up on me.

Jim is fantastic. I consulted with many lawyers prior to finding him. I could not have been happier with the process, our approach and the result. He was extremely thorough, responsive and helpful. Very grateful to him and his staff.

I have never encountered such an unhelpful and rude attorney. He handled a matter for us that was clearly beyond his capabilities and consistently blamed others and us for his failure to meet target dates. I could write a book, but this gets it said.

Lengthy delays, lack of information, and a change in people too often. Unethical approach and frankly, was not capable of handling the situation at hand.

This review is long overdue for Mr. Pendergrass and his team. Words cannot truly express how grateful I am to everyone at the office. Mr. Pendergrass’s advice concerning my unwelcome tenant was very helpful and got me through an extremely stressful time dealing with North Carolina tenant law. I especially appreciate his straight to the point manner and knowledge. He helped guide me to making the best decisions (financial and emotional) for my situation by educating me in all of my options and explaining the repercussions of each. I did not find any rude or disrespectful tones in any of our conversations. I prefer any professional I work with to be frank, which he is. Being honest and straightforward with a client is more important than unrealistic expectations and false hope. Other local firms I contacted before his office met me with condescension, greediness, and/or didn’t bother to answer the first message that was left. I was able to speak with Mr. Pendergrass directly on day one and in a few minutes I knew he was going to be the best choice to help me. He cared about my situation without even having met me in person yet. That means a lot when you feel like you’re being taken advantage of and have nowhere to turn. I’d like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Joyce whose delightful phone demeaner was calming and gentle every time I called. She was also diligent in her immediate assistance for me and relaying important messages in a timely manner. Another thanks to Mrs. Franklin for taking the time to talk to me like I’m a person and not a number. She expressed invaluable empathy which means a great deal when an unsavory tenant refuses to vacate, causing anxiety at the highest level. All in all, I would highly recommend Mr. Pendergrass (and team members) to anyone who needs a lawyer that practices with integrity, a wealth of real estate knowledge, and a genuine approach that lets you know they really care about your best interests.
