So I hired Patricia for a red light citation in San Mateo County and over email Patricia told me that it's possible to do a trial by written declaration and then they can basically do. In case I lose I can do a new trial and this is over email. Actually this court, since 2024, does not allow this and Patricia knew this but still gave me the wrong advice. Trusting her I took her advice and then when the court denied a new trial Patricia did not help me at all. She stopped responding to my emails. I had to file an appeal. She completely did not help me in any way even when I had to give a proof of service, which just requires the attorney to send a physical mail to the other party and cannot be done by the defendants. She did not help and stopped responding to my requests and did not do what was promised over email. I would definitely ask you not to consider her because of the loss of trust in her work.
